Urban Milwaukee tracks Koch-funded effort to derail streetcar

Last week I wrote I'd been hearing about right-wing advocacy money coming into Milwaukee against the streetcar:
Big numbers are being rumored as streetcar opponents use the project to attack Mayor Barrett.

Let's hope this convinces some Common Council members said to be on the fence to stand up for the city and modern transit, and stand against this self-interested, right-wing incursion into the city's affairs by fossil fuel barons.

The vote at Wednesday's meeting should be 15-0 in favor of the streetcar. And the city.
