Walker budget erases state bike funding; his DNR touts biking

I've noted time and again on this blog that Walker is devaluing and deconstructing the clean air, land, water and public conservation mission of the DNR, yet the agency repeatedly uses its emailed "Clean Air Tip Of The Week" to pretend otherwise.

Here's another example sent today that touts biking on the heels of Walker's new budget that ends all state support for Wisconsin biking transportation:

Clean Air Tip of the Week

For the week of March 8, 2015:
"My City Bikes [exit DNR] is a new tool designed to benefit cyclists across the United States and Canada by providing a simple and free mobile resource to them. Visit the My City Bikes web page to find your nearest location. You can then link to the iTunes store and download the app for free! Whether you cycle for transportation, recreation or the health benefits, My City Bikes can link you to local trails, maps, service and bike shops, and more."
